I am based at Parndon Mill and I am a full-time artist and part-time lecturer. Recent projects include supplying hand-carved oak benches, based on a school hymn, as part of the school's 50th anniversary celebrations. I have worked with schoolchildren to produce permanently sited totem columns based on North American Indian mythology, and with school leavers and staff to create a seating scheme with integral oak sculptures. I devise an overall strategy, a final outcome or broad intention and help fit all the necessary pieces and keywords together to achieve the finished work.
